Published by Puffin (Penguin) Books, Puffin Post was the magazine of The Puffin Club, which was the brainchild of Puffin Books’ editor, Kaye Webb. The club was born in 1967 after Kaye persuaded Sir Allen Lane, the owner of Penguin Books, that the club would make children into adult readers. This edition from 1974 measures 23cm by 16.5cm, has 31 printed pages and is illustrated throughout with black and white illustrations and photographs. Includes a 50 something year old school story by Robert Graves called “Treacle Tart” plus  a feature on “Space Oddities” by Patrick Moore Condition: Covers a little edge-worn and previous owner has had a go at the crossword in pencil. Overall in Very Good clean condition
