Published by Puffin (Penguin) Books, Puffin Post was the magazine of The Puffin Club, which was the brainchild of Puffin Books’ editor, Kaye Webb. The club was born in 1967 after Kaye persuaded Sir Allen Lane, the owner of Penguin Books, that the club would make children into adult readers. This edition from 1975 measures 23cm by 16.5cm, has 31 printed pages and is illustrated throughout with black and white illustrations and photographs. Includes an interview with Diana Wynne Jones, a story by Joan Aiken and a feature called “How to Haiku” with a tie-in Haiku competition. Condition: Covers a little edge-worn and pages uniformly browned with age. The colours of the Jan Pienkowski cover remain vibrant. Overall in Very Good clean condition.
