The Iron Age festival is in full swing. We’re having a ball in Cullercoats. Ian McMillan last night and David Almond in a few hours. I was supposed to take to the high seas this afternoon in a boat with poets seeking inspiration for a Haiku workshop tomorrow. Sadly the trip had to be postponed because of bad weather.
It’s been raining for about 18 hours now. It’s felt like late afternoon since 8am. I’m sure the weather won’t deter Almond fans but I’m sure Eurovision fans will be swayed by Bonnie over coming to watch me perform afterwards.
