This time next week I’ll be limbering up and enjoying my usual clothes faff ahead of an afternoon gig in Morpeth.

I’m delighted to be part of the Morpeth Book Festival which takes place next weekend 9th and 10th of April. If you wanted to see Ann Cleeves in conversation then hard cheese, the event’s sold out. Well, what did you expect? !

It’s a book fest, in Morpeth

There are still places for Memoirs & Travel Adventure featuring Miles Hewitt, An Evening with Mari Hannah and of course my sesh alongside fellow coastal poet, Harry Gallagher.

Sunday kicks off with storytelling sessions for under fives in Morpeth Library then there’s a Biography session, Historical Sagas and Cosy Crime with Glenda Young plus more poetry from Pippa Little, Jean Groves, Verner Gorman and others.

The festival is run by Greater Morpeth Development Trust and Northumberland Libraries. Click here to book tickets for events and see you next weekend.
