Well it’s great to see Morpeth Book Festival organisers getting going with the promotion of the event set to take place on the 9th and 10th of April next year.
I’m one of 30 writers lined up to read my stuff in front of an audience at either Morpeth Library or The Queens Head Hotel.
Other writers include Robert Scragg, Fiona Veitch Smith, Trevor Wood and Helen Steadman. Ann Cleeves will make a virtual appearance. Shame! It would have been fab to see and hear her talk in front of an audience.
Mind you, barely a week goes by without me spotting her out and about here at the coast. And she’s always smiling….
