The Public Catalogue Foundation was set up to record the nation’s entire collection of oil paintings in public counwership. This book includes works by Burne-Jones, Holman Hunt, Gauguin, L.S. Lowry, Stanley Spencer and John Martin. Condition: The first page includes four colour photos of a European city centre/centres and is edge-worn, detached from book and laid in (see photo). The rest of the book is intact, clean with minor edge-wear to covers and slight browning with age to edges. Very Good. This is a heavy book and price reflects anticipated postage.
