Published by Puffin (Penguin) Books, Puffin Post was the magazine of The Puffin Club, which was the brainchild of Puffin Books’ editor, Kaye Webb. The club was born in 1967 after Kaye persuaded Sir Allen Lane, the owner of Penguin Books, that the club would make children into adult readers. This edition from 1975 measures 23cm by 16.5cm, has 31 printed pages and is illustrated throughout with black and white illustrations and photographs. Includes an ia story by Joan Aiken called “Clean Sheets” and a feature entitled “On Being a Poet” by Brian Patten. Condition: Covers a little edge-worn and pages uniformly browned with age. Overall in Very Good clean condition.
