Charrington” by Cyril Arthur Edward Ranger Gull, a prolific English journalist and novelist who wrote under the pen name of Guy Thorne. Frederick Nicholas Charrington was an English social reformer who renounced his succession to the £1 million fortune of Charrington Brewery in order to devote his life to temperance work. Condition: Page edges soiled and spotted with age, spine slightly sunned, boards a little edge-worn although cover illustrations bright.
